Overview
A Dock Built to Match the Property
This dock sits on the water in Bella Collina, laid out as a long walkway leading to an open platform with a custom bench at the end. The decking and railing tops are composite Trex, paired with stainless-steel cable railing and marine-grade hardware for a clean, low-maintenance finish. Solar-powered lights on the pilings light the walkway once the sun goes down.
The cable railing keeps the view of the lake open along the full length of the walkway, and it is held together with marine-grade hardware, built for the kind of daily exposure a dock gets on the water. It is a simple system at its core, stainless steel wire strung between posts, doing its job without adding bulk to the structure.
Layout
Built Around the Property
The dock stretches out from the shoreline as one long, straight walkway, giving the property a direct line to the lake instead of a short stub tucked along the bank. Walking out to the water becomes part of using the property, not just a way to reach it.
At the far end, the walkway opens into a wider platform, and that is where the custom bench comes in. Built to the client's request rather than pulled from a catalog, it turns the platform from a simple turnaround point into an actual place to sit at the water's edge. With solar-powered lights along the pilings, that spot stays usable well after the sun goes down.
